| Nissan Teana sales are up |

New high class Nissan Teana sedan (new Maxima in Europe) which sales started in the beginning of February, wins more and more popularity in Japan. Nissan received more than 3,000 pre-orders before even starting Teana sales exceeding planned February figure of 2,000 units. At mid February the amount of orders exceeded 6,000 units with March first days sales exceeding 8,000. Taking into account these figures it is possible to assume, that by the end of March the amount of received orders will exceed 10,000 units. The most popular modification is 2,3 liter one with new VQ23DE engine (173 hp maximum power).
Besides these, one of the interesting facts is that greatest amount of handed over traid-in cars consists of out-of-date Laurel and Cefiro cars, Teana predecessors, with Laurel making the most part.
